Short History of Pug Dog Breed
Pug has a long history, the breed known since the Shang Dynasty (Before 400 BC), unfortunately the exact origin of the breed remain a mystery since all historical records burned during Qin dynasty (China Unification Period). However there is a term known as "Lo-Chiang-Sze" which described by Confucius as "Short Muzzled Dog" and believed as the origin of today Pug, Pekinese, Lasha Apso, and Tibetan Spaniel.
